After seeing JP Cooper at British Summertime at Hyde Park, supporting Stevie Wonder, I fell in love with his sound. Fast forward a couple of months, I put on the radio on the way to work. I then think to myself 'hey, I recognise this song'. It was his debut song September Song. Needless to say, I had the song on repeat for a good few weeks and was thrilled to find more songs from him when I searched on Spotify.
I came across "Into The Silence', notably in a period where I was a little down in the dumps, recovering from a short stink in hospital. The song instantly lifted me and made everything alright in the world. I love music, but I love it even more when a song really brings out an emotion in you, whether it relates directly to you or it allows you some escapism for a couple of minutes.
I hope you enjoy the song as much as I do. I really hope JP Cooper brings out more songs soon, hopefully a gorgeous album will follow these amazing songs. I have my fingers firmly crossed as I think this guy is one to watch and i'll be sure to keep a look out for any up an coming gigs he's doing.
