They're smoothie bowls, obviously! With my trusty Nutribullet, I thought I give this delicious looking brekkie a go.
Thankfully, I had already grasped the basics of making a smoothie so I went along with my own recipe. That consisted of chucking what fruit I had into a blender with a little cocao powder and hey presto one delicious, insta inspired breakfast.
Smoothie bowls aren't only a super tasty start you the day, but are packed with nutrients & sneaky superfoods for a little health boost.
If you like the look of mine, here are the steps to creating it...
What you'll need:
Handful of strawberries
2-3 tablespoons chia seeds
2 generous tablespoons of cacao powder
Desiccated coconut (as much or as little as you like)
100ml cashew milk (any milk will do, almond, soya etc)
I topped mine with banana, frozen berries & extra coconut - get creative with yours!
This is the perfect weekend brekkie but can also be made the night before & kept in the fridge overnight if you fancy a weekday treat.
