My Fashion Award Favourites

December 5, 2017

Last night saw the annual Fashion Awards take place, celebrating designers, businesses and innovation within the fashion industry.

Their were a host of winners from different sectors of the industry.

Stella McCartney was honoured with a Special Recognition award for her innovative work challenging sustainability in fashion production. As a brand, Stella McCartney commits to sustainable fashion practices and material innovation. This is an element of the evolving fashion industry that really interests me and I'm beginning to be more proactive in my own sustainable purchases.

Every celeb, designer & fashion influencer that attended looked AMAZING, but here are a few of my stand outs:

Poppy Delevingne wearing Giambattista Valli

What can I say about this dress? Just look at it! Love the drop hem train, love the print, love the sleeve design, super jealous I don't have it

Kaia Gerber wearing Ralph & Russo

I mean as the daughter of supermodel, Cindy Crawford, you were always going to be genetically blessed. Love this co-ord look and the colour is just lovely

Adwoa Aboah wearing Halpern

Winner of Model of the Year & Face of the 'New Vogue' looks stunning in this glitzy Halpern number. Designer at Halpern, Micheal Halpern was awarded British Emerging Talent at the ceremony. I'm into all things sequins and glitter around Christmas time so LOVE this look, 'tis the season & all that

Mollie King wearing Zeynep Kartal

I've always been obsessed with feathers and as soon as I saw Mollie's dress I added it to my 'Dream Wedding Dress' Pinterest board! My Uni Grad ball dress my Mum made for me had a sheer skirt so I'm a big fan of the subtle cheekiness it brings to a 'gown' style dress. I'd add a red lip to finish the look.

Ruth Wilson in Erdem

Such a stunning lady already but even more so dressed in Erdem. Love the metallic dress and embellishment detailing through the length of the dress

Tinie Tempah wearing Burberry

A cool guy anyway, but looking extra cool in Burberry. I think Tinie Tempah is a great example of how music & fashion interlink and complement each other. Good job Mr Tempah!

Dreaming of perfect ball gowns and occasion I would need one for!
