Although the weather may be saying otherwise (I really need to shut up about the weather!), Spring/Summer 2018 is well on it's way. A time to ditch the wooly winter coats and refresh your Spring wardrobe.
This Spring, it's all about Crayon Brights, think primary colours, prints & clashing, brighter the better. Take catwalk inspiration from the likes of Dolce & Gabbana and their wonderful multicoloured knitted creation, because lets face it the jumpers aren't going away just yet (sad face)! To add a subtle nod to the trend, pick out accents in slogans or graphics, a little like this MGSM knitted number (LOVE). For the super brave, go head to toe in a truly crayon fashion, inspired by this SS18 Versace orange suit get up. For me the easiest way to stay on trend with minimal thought is to whack on a Spring inspired dress for full impact, little effort, just like this AMAZING Balenciaga yellow dress (also the stand out colour of the season, wink wink!).

For those more colour averse it's easy to partake in the trend of the season, add a splash of colour to your look with a bright bag or accessory, it's that easy!
I decided to kick of the season with a more low key take on the trend. I bought these yellow Topshop Jeans last year in the summer sales but haven't really worn them that much. I was so excited to pair them with another sale find, this SUPER COOL black tee from Zara with an AMAZING pocket detail, I just love it so much. It's kind of oversized too which makes it super easy to style. Adding my patent Dorothy Perkins boots and a leather jacket, my nod to the Crayon Brights trend is complete!
I can't wait to experiment with my new love of colour with my wardrobe. I've decided I'm going to be much braver with my style choices this year so I best get to it and when better than the start of a brand new season. Bring on Spring Summer 18, I'm excited already! Look out for all the other SS18 trends; pastels, 80's revival & extra textures (think feathers, fringing anything that adds a little extra summin' to your outfits!) are all going to be HUGE, yay!
