THE BRITS. The pinnacle of the British music calendar and personally, my favourite awards of the season!
Anne Marie's look is EVERYTHING! Rocking a mini dress, but this TOMO KOIZUMI, a Japanese designer, ruffled kimono jacket is an absolute showstopper and I love everything about it! The contrast of the purple against the white, the simplistic dress and shoes and then that WOAH HELLO KIMONO JACKET. In-spired!
In one of my FAVOURITE designers of all time, Jess Glynne wears a bespoke Vivienne Westwood metallic number. I'm in love with the asymmetric neckline and spaghetti strap and cowl neck detailing. With the fit and train of the dress, it's a double thumbs up from little ol' me!
Now you may look at this and think nice dress, BUT na-ah its a freaking jumpsuit (and we all know how much I love jumpsuits!) The A-MA-ZING Cushnie ensemble is a beautiful pop of canary yellow and is just the absolute dream! The neckline is hidden a little with this outfit but it has a beautiful high halter neck and suits P!nk down to the ground! All finished off with a leather biker jacket, P!nk really is a girl after my own heart!
Now oh my goodness, what a dress. Suki Waterhouse, I applaud you! This Rami Kadi SS19 collection dress is giving me wedding dress inspo (yet again, this happens a lot and I'm still single so this wedding ain't happening soonish, ya get me? I'm such a fantasist it's frightening). Having presented Best Producer Award to Calvin Harris, this was the prefect show stopping (not literally obvs) dress for full media/viewer/fashion queen exposure.
And here come the boooys: (because we can't forget about them now can we?!)
Winner of this years Critic's Choice Award, Sam Fender rocked a Richard James (of Saville Row no less) black suit, crisp white shirt and Dr Martens. Couldn't love the look any more. I have to admit I love his songs but had never seen him IRL. Gotta say, don't know why, but was not expecting him to look like this. Not in a bad way, I'm impressed!
And to the man of the moment, three words DUCK EGG BLUE. Shawn Mendes looking suave in this (can't find designer when googling *rolling eyes emoji*) dapper suit and loving the Western style boots paired with it, sir. Hot from his well, rather lovely Calvin Klein campaign pics (you've all seen them, don't pretend you haven't, the pics I mean, naughty, keep it clean!) Shawn is a knockout in this look and I completely approve. Such a shame he missed out on Best International Male, next year bro, I'm crossing my fingers for you!
I also have to mention my three highlights of the WHOLE night:
1. THAT OPENING! Hugh Jackman, The Greatest Showman, I was singing a dancing along, not even ashamed. Only disappointment was that Zac didn't make an appearance but I guess we can't have everything
2. Sam Smith absolutely feeling himself performing 'Promises'. What a lil' Sass Pot, obsessed with him already but fell in love just that bit more with his oh so extra performance with Calvin Harris
3. P!nk JUST P!nk, what a woman! That is all.
